A native New Yorker, Jon Rosado is a Brooklyn based illustrator.
Rosado studied Fine Art at the famed LaGuardia High School of Art and received his BFA in Illustration from The School of Visual Arts.
His work reflects his ecclectic life. Both humorous and dark, sexual and innocent, hip and underground, street and formal. Rosado's work strives to evoke emotion, even if it is repulsion.
Jon Rosado's work has been featured in Exit Room's Track 2, Inspiration in the Cut's 2nd Exhibition, 2 salon shows at The Greenpoint Gallery with an upcoming solo show, The Friday Gallery, The Brooklyn Tea Lounge, Homage Skateboards, Dopeness Apparel, Nasty Nerd Apparel, The Moon comedy troop, and as cover art for the groups M.P.C. and Bobby Backwoods. Member of the Figure 1 Collective and participant in The Collage live art, Basement Art Sessions, and HBF Urban Arts & Lit Festival presented by Global I Aam.
